Your cat can expect her litter box cleaned twice a day, lots of freedom to explore the camp, and lots of special attention.
We know that you are busy and can't be in two places at the same time. Our goal is to ensure your piece of mind while you are at work, vacation, or otherwise unable to tend to your cat's needs temporarily.
Cat Boarding Considerations
There is no doubt that your pet is happiest when you’re home. However, work and other necessary outings often force us to leave our pets home alone. Many cat owners feel it’s fine to leave their cat alone at home while they’re away. And while it’s true most cats don’t require the same level of attention dogs do, leaving a cat home for days with no one to check on her can backfire.
You should not leave your cat home alone without having someone available to provide clean water, fresh food and attend to the litter box. Cats can get into some strange predicaments when they are left to their own devices! While friends and neighbours may agree to this task, it may not be their number one priority. It has happened to me, where a friend supposedly caring for my cat, completely forgot! I am not sure I was ever fully forgiven by my cat and my relationship with my friend was never the same.
We recommend not burdening your friends or neighbours with this favour. Instead, enjoy your time away knowing someone reliable, such as Little Whiskers Cat Camp, will be accountable.
